Jeffrey Farber

MSW, LCSW

Military Veteran | Psychotherapist | Life Coach

I’m a military veteran, psychotherapist and life coach, specializing in mood disorders and substance abuse. Over the years, I’ve used an integrative psychotherapeutic approach. Integrative psychotherapy is multi-modal. —Meaning, it combines therapeutic theories and techniques within the treatment process.

In terms of psychotherapeutic interventions, I’ve been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), and psychodynamic psychotherapy (PDT).

Over the next year – when clinically appropriate – I will be integrating virtual reality and immersive technology or VR-IT. fireflyimmersive.com VR-IT delivers evidence-based therapy within a self-guided and self-paced virtual environment.
